Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio, where she continued her passion for the stage. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student through Northwestern University. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for many years prior to trying out for film and TV parts. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons during Deadwood's 2nd season. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. She also starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn also participated in an audio-play series known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's personal life.
