Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months before she moved to Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of roles in acting, such as commercials and local independent movies. Despite small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. After moving into New York and in 2001 she landed her first role in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. During early 2000s she had small roles appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama television show. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko as Horatio his wife. On NBC's dark and dramatic thriller Do No Harm she played the character in the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory and is Italian by descent. She grew up in an environment that was strict and extremely spiritual. Milano was seven years young when her babysitter drove Milano to a talent show. Her audition was among over 1000 applicants. She was selected as one of only four girls. Milano appeared in commercials for television as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
