Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She has been widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of child witnesses and eyewitness memories in the legal setting. Professor Goodman has published widely, received many grants and has been awarded many international and national awards. She has offered policy and research consultations for numerous government agencies and departments from all over the world. She has been a consultant with the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as The Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policy and Practice.
